Miranda Francis - Remortgage Specialist
After finishing my degree in business studies I had a few years work experience in administration and accounts before I took a role with a large estate agency as a mortgage advisor. After completing their initial training course and successfully passing the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice exams with distinction or merit, I continued to work there for a few years and gained a good insight into the industry of property and mortgages.
I applied for a job at Contractor Financials in 2008 when the credit crunch was starting to take effect on the financial services industry and was really impressed with the niche market the company works in.
I’m now in my fifth year of service and haven’t looked back.
As a remortgage specialist at ContractorFinancials, I mainly focus on switching our client’s mortgage deals over to a new suitable lender. This may be to help realise their plans for home improvements, building their property portfolios or even just to save them money on their monthly mortgage payments. I contact our clients in advance of their mortgage expiring to make sure the transition is as smooth as possible ensuring they always have the most competitive scheme available.
I'm also happy to help new clients who may feel they're stuck on lenders far more costly standard variable rates because they are new to contracting and have been told they need at least 2years limited company accounts to be able to remortgage to another lender.
