Free Critical Illness cover offer ends 31st December!

Published on 21st December 2009

For a limited time only we are able to offer free Critical Illness cover to Contractors when you take out an Income Protection policy, but hurry this offer ends on 31st December.

As a Contractor you rely on your ability to get on site in order to earn an income but if an illness or injury were to prevent you from working, you need to make sure that you have an income in place to support your lifestyle and protect your family at what will also be an obviously be a stressful time.

With cash deposits offering their lowest returns in over a decade it will be difficult to live off any lump sums that you may have been able to build up, it is more important than ever to make sure you have a plan in place that will provide an income you can rely on. With Critical Illness and Income Protection cover you can insure yourself for every eventuality.

What are you covered for?

Critical Illness cover will pay out a lump sum on diagnosis of a critical illness such as a cancer, heart attack or stroke, in order to cover medical expenses and changes to your home or vehicle needed to accommodate your condition. These funds can also be used for any other purpose, perhaps even a holiday to help your convalescence. For a relatively small monthly premium you can ensure that your policy will pay out a tax free lump sum when you need it most, and you can rest assured that even if you recover fully from the illness, you won't have to pay back the money given to you.

Income Protection will pay out, even on less serious illnesses such as flu or broken limbs and offers a regular, tax-free monthly income in the case of an accident or illness preventing you from working and combined with the critical illness cover, can give you complete peace of mind that your family is protected.

Combined these two essential forms of protection cover you for your income and lump sum needs.

Great cover, great price

With a special offer from LV, we are able to offer Contractors the opportunity to benefit from free Critical Illness cover when you choose an LV Income Protection policy. The Critical Illness cover will pay out a lump sum of up to 3x the amount you have chosen to protect on your Income Protection policy. Plus, it will only end when you choose to stop your Income Protection policy.

The process of application is quick and straightforward as there is only one set of questions to cover both policies and if you come to make a claim then there is no waiting period after your claim has been assessed so you can put your money to good use straight away and get on the route to recovery.

You don't have to pay any extra for your Critical Illness cover and unlike some policies; you don't have to have claimed on your Income Protection policy if you make a claim for Critical Illness.

If you would like to benefit from the peace of mind and value for money that this cover offers you, then contact our award winning protection adviser Samantha Foster before 31st December.
