What is a HIP (Home Information Pack)?
HIP stands for Home Information Pack. These packs consist of a collection of documents required prior to a property being offered for sale in order for the exchange to be completed in a fast and efficient manner.

- Where appropriate - common hold information (including a copy of the common hold community statement)
- Where appropriate - a New Homes Warranty
- Where appropriate - a report on a home that is not physically complete
The non-mandatory documents are:
- Home Condition Report

- Extra title information (e.g. copy indemnity policies)
